This Weezing is part of the debut EX Delta Species expansion, the 2005 set that introduced Delta Species Pokémon—alternate-typed versions created by the Holon Research Tower experiments—so seeing Weezing as a Grass-type is exactly the kind of weird science that made the set unforgettable.
