5 facts about this card
Vibrava δ is part of the Delta Species experiment that made familiar Pokémon feel strange again, reimagining Vibrava as a Psychic-type instead of its usual Dragon/Ground identity.
EX Dragon Frontiers was the climactic late-EX-era set built around Delta Species Pokémon, so a Reverse Holo like this captures one of the signature twists collectors chase from the Holon block.
This card was illustrated by Tomokazu Komiya, one of the Pokémon TCG’s longest-running artists, whose instantly recognizable offbeat style has been part of the game since 1996.
Its Poké-Body, Psychic Wing, cleverly rewards Psychic Energy by dropping Vibrava’s Retreat Cost to zero, a neat mechanical nod to the species’ airborne agility.
Even the attack has a little TCG history behind it, because Quick Blow traces back to the older Quick Attack-style design first noted on Sabrina’s Abra from Gym Challenge.
