Collectors are chasing exclusives, but the tape is still full of bad prints and thin spikes.

Today’s market feels split in two. Real demand is showing up around exclusives and selective sealed, while a lot of the 7-day single-card leaderboard still looks noisy, illiquid, or flat-out broken.

The big headline is China’s Chasing Glory Together, and the exclusive Brock’s Scouting SIR gives that product an actual collector hook. At the same time, pack EV is still brutally uneven, with Shining Legends sitting at 2.62x, White Flare at 1.27x, and Crown Zenith underwater at 0.77x.

Repack sets usually struggle to hold long-term attention unless there’s a clear reason to buy local product, and this is one. Sentiment around region-exclusive Pokemon product has been firm for months, and this kind of card tends to pull in both Brock character collectors and buyers who want low-print, market-specific pieces. My read, this boosts interest in sealed Chinese product more than it boosts the underlying source cards from the compiled sets.

On the other side, Feraligatr from HeartGold & SoulSilver and several others printed near-total collapses, down 99.8% to 99.9%+. That’s not broad market repricing. That’s sparse sales data, bad listings, or a tiny number of transactions whipping the averages around. Don’t chase that board blind. It’s a trap more often than a signal.

Social attention is rotating away from some modern alt-style names.

Latias & Latios GX logged 18 mentions with a negative sentiment score of -20, which matters more than the one-off sentiment swings on cards with only one or two mentions. If multiple copies actually cleared higher, this could stick better than the average random spike. Still, I’d want at least a few confirmed transactions before calling it a trend.

Eeveelution tax is real, and Leafeon doesn’t need much excuse to move. Even so, a near-1000% jump without a related headline screams thin supply. If you own one, this is a check-the-comps moment, not an automatic hold.

Ignore the percentage and inspect the print. A move this extreme almost never reflects true demand destruction. It usually means a bad data point reset the average. Same goes for Swampert Reverse Holo, Unown A 1st Edition, Darkrai LV.X, and Rockruff from GX Ultra Shiny.

Not a top gainer or loser on the board, but worth watching because the sentiment data is cleaner here. Eighteen mentions with negative tone tells you the community is actively debating value. If price starts softening alongside that chatter, the sentiment is confirming the move. If price holds firm, that’s a sign the dip buyers are still in control.
