How Much Does a Pokemon Master Set Cost?

It depends on the set. Across 143 sets with at least 90% price coverage, the median completion cost is $3,818 in raw near-mint singles, based on Double Holo market data as of October 27, 2026. Newer, chase-heavy sets and vintage sets both run well above that median; see the tables above for exact figures.

Among sets with at least 90% price coverage, Pokemon Lycanroc & Alolan Raichu is the cheapest to complete as of October 27, 2026, at about $13 in raw near-mint singles on Double Holo.

Among sets with at least 90% price coverage, Pokemon Skyridge is the most expensive to complete as of October 27, 2026, at about $53,422 in raw near-mint singles on Double Holo.

Completion cost is the sum of Double Holo's current raw near-mint (NM) market prices for every individually priced single in a set. It does not include sealed products (booster boxes, packs, or bundles), and it does not include every possible print variant, so a true master set with reverse holos and other variants can cost more than the total shown.

Coverage is the share of a set's total card count that currently has a Double Holo market price. Cards without enough sale history yet, or without a market price recorded, are not included in the coverage percentage or the completion cost total, so a low-coverage set's true completion cost is likely higher than the number shown.
