That's the tone today. Collectors are engaged, sentiment is improving on a handful of flashy names, but the raw gainers and losers list is messy enough that price alone is a bad signal unless volume backs it up.

That's the kind of stat line that keeps promo hunters active even when the broader singles market is choppy. It also fits the current mood, collectors are paying up for scarce Japanese pieces with a real story, not random mid-era bulk holos with one weird sale.

Pack EV is separating sealed winners from sealed traps.

Shining Legends remains the strongest pack-rip value on the list at 2.67x EV, good for a 167% margin. White Flare is still positive at 1.25x, which is healthy enough to keep casual ripping demand alive. Crown Zenith, despite being one of the most loved modern openings, screens at 0.78x EV, or negative 22%. That's a real disconnect between community affection and pure expected value. People still like opening it, but from a numbers standpoint it's not the smart rip right now.

Sentiment is rotating toward flashy ex and EX names, not slow grinders.

Mega Emboar ex posted the strongest social improvement with an 80.0 sentiment score across 17 mentions. That's enough chatter to matter. Flareon EX also improved, and Gengar EX ticked up as well, though on very light mention count. Meanwhile Poliwhirl Reverse Holo and Morty's Conviction both slipped into negative sentiment. Also up 994.74%, but this one at least sits in a product line that still gets collector attention. Snorlax has broad character demand, so this deserves a little more respect than the average random spike. Still, without volume confirmation, don't assume the market suddenly repriced it tenfold.

Dark Ampharos, Japanese Darkness, and to Light

Another 994% mover. Vintage Japanese holos can jump hard when supply vanishes for a week, especially if one clean copy sells. The problem is that these moves often fade once two or three more sellers show up. Good card, bad chart.

Feraligatr, HeartGold & SoulSilver

Down 99.96% is not a real collapse in collector demand. More likely, a bad high print got replaced by a normal sale, or a data issue got flushed out. Same story for Graveler Reverse Holo, Toys R Us Geodude, and Mirage Forest Gengar 1st Edition. These are correction prints, not panic signals.

This is the sentiment mover I'd actually keep on the radar. An 80.0 score on 17 mentions is enough to suggest real growing interest, and unlike the broken weekly gainers board, sentiment shifts can front-run actual price action. If copies are still cheap, this is where I'd rather speculate than chase a 900% chart.
