Pack value is strongest in Shining Legends, but some once-hot singles keep falling

Today's market still looks split, just like yesterday, but the gap is getting wider. Sealed buyers have a clear favorite in Shining Legends, where pack EV sits at 2.81x, while parts of the singles market are still giving back gains fast, especially high-priced promos and thinly traded vintage.

The big tell is that money isn't moving everywhere at once. Collectors are paying up for strong pack math, clean grading targets, and a few nostalgia names, but they're quick to bail on cards that ran too far without fresh demand behind them.

With a 2.81x pack EV ratio and 181% margin, Shining Legends is way ahead of the field today. That's not a small edge, that's a real signal that rip value is still supporting sealed interest. But this kind of move on a cheap card can happen quickly on light volume. It's real, but I'd treat it as a grading and nostalgia story, not proof of a broad Evolutions breakout.

Sentiment is quietly improving around niche collector cards.
