Old singles keep ripping while modern cards slip

Vintage and mid-era condition rarities lead, while several modern names keep falling

The split in the market got even wider today. Older singles with real condition scarcity are still getting bought hard, while a batch of modern and late-Sun & Moon cards keep sliding, even when the character is strong. Collectors are paying up for tough PSA 10s, and they're backing away fast from cards that had too much hype or too much supply.
You can see it clearly in the 30-day movers. Metagross from Delta Species is up 135.71% to $107.27, while Ultra Prism Lusamine is down 49.32% to $161.57. That's not random. The market wants scarcity and grade difficulty right now.
Today's movers90 day trend
Metagross, Delta Species, $107.27, up 135.71%Metagross · Pokemon Delta SpeciesNM$107.27PSA 10$1524.53+90.4%
This is exactly the kind of card the market wants right now. Raw isn't cheap anymore, but the PSA 10 average at $1,524.53 shows why buyers still care. If you find a truly clean copy, people will pay.
Salamence GX, Dragon Majesty, $9.99, up 132.94%Salamence GX · Pokemon Dragon MajestyNM$9.99PSA 10$172.41+26.9%
This one is more interesting than it looks. A sub-$10 raw with a PSA 10 average of $172.41 is the kind of spread that wakes people up fast. Dragon Majesty has always had a loyal following, and this move says collectors are revisiting underpriced GX-era names.
Trevenant & Dusknoir GX, Tag All Stars, $35.09, up 134.71%Trevenant & Dusknoir GX · Pokemon Japanese Tag All StarsNM$35.09PSA 10$101.77+19.1%
This looks like a catch-up move inside the Tag Team pocket that still has room. It's not just a random ghost tax either. Duskull sentiment improved today, and while that mention count is tiny, spooky lines are clearly getting more collector attention again.
Lusamine, Ultra Prism, $161.57, down 49.32%Lusamine · Pokemon Ultra PrismNM$161.57PSA 10$395.31+0.9%
A near-50% drop at this price level matters. This looks less like panic and more like a reset after a card got too expensive too fast. PSA 10 still averages $395.31, so the card isn't dead, but raw buyers have stopped chasing it.
Charizard Reverse Holo, Team Up, $34.32, down 48.82%Charizard [Reverse Holo] · Pokemon Team UpNM$34.32PSA 10$400.47+58.6%
Big name, ugly chart. That's usually a warning sign. If you're buying Charizard right now, stick to scarcer printings or tougher grades. This one still feels like it needs time.

Community Pulse

Sealed talk is getting more positive. Booster box mentions were the strongest sentiment signal in today's community data, and that lines up with collectors looking for safer holds after some modern singles got smoked.

Character chatter was lighter, but there are a couple tells. Duskull sentiment improved to 70.0 and Gengar Prime improved to 60.0, both on low mention counts. That's not enough to call a trend by itself, but it fits the bigger picture, ghost and older niche cards are getting more love than flashy modern promos.

Flareon EX sentiment turned negative at -40.0. Small sample, sure, but Eeveelution buyers look more selective right now. People still want the big names, they just don't want to overpay for them.
