Collector sentiment leaned bullish on vintage all week, especially by the weekend. Charizard, Rayquaza, Gold Stars, Crystal cards, and older ex-era names got the healthiest attention, and this time the chatter generally matched actual sales and price strength.
The Mega Dragonite ex story was more interesting. Early in the week sentiment was sharply negative, from -52.05 on Monday to around -45.65 through Friday, with heavy mention volume. By Saturday and Sunday, the mood improved to 67.86 and then 59.38 on lighter mention counts after the new deck reveal. So the crowd softened its stance, but I wouldn't confuse that with a clean all-clear. Reprint attention can lift conversation faster than it lifts prices.
There was also a healthy skepticism streak this week. Collectors pushed back on the reported $900,000 Cresselia Holo PSA 10 comp, and that's a good sign. The market's acting more disciplined than it did during some earlier hype cycles.
