This English Jolteon actually debuted before its Japanese print, first appearing in EX Sandstorm in September 2003 and only later arriving in Japan in Magma VS Aqua: Two Ambitions.
In-Game
The card cleverly mirrors main-series design by using Double Kick, a move Jolteon can learn in the games, while its other attack uses the Japanese name of Bolt Strike, a move that would not appear in the video games until Generation V years later.
