What is a card show POS?

A card show POS is a point-of-sale system built for running a table: pricing individual cards on the spot, taking payment, and tracking what came in and went out for the day. It is the same job any retail POS does, ring up what a customer owes and log the transaction, just applied to a vendor working a table instead of a fixed storefront.

A card-specific POS adds what a generic checkout cannot: it needs to price thousands of individual cards instantly instead of ringing up a small, fixed catalog of items, and it needs to handle buys and trades from customers, not just sales to them. Vendor Hub does that by comping every card against live market data and applying your own buy and trade percentages automatically, so pricing a stack at the table takes seconds instead of manual lookups.

How Vendor Hub works at a show

  1. 1

    Scan a card or slab

Point the scanner at a single card or a whole stack, raw or graded. Vendor Hub reads it straight into the deal instead of you looking it up by hand.

  2. 2

    Get a live comp

Every card comes back comped from live Double Holo marketplace sales data in seconds, no thumbing through sold listings while a customer waits.

  3. 3

    Your percentages apply automatically

Your own buy and trade percentages are already applied to the comp, and you can edit them mid-deal. The number on screen is the number you can quote.

  4. 4

    Review the whole deal

Totals stay live as cards get added to or dropped from the stack, and you get a full review before anything is final. Nothing commits until you say so.

  5. 5

    Confirm and it's logged

Once you confirm, the deal lands in your books automatically, including table fees, expenses, cash in, and cash out for the show.

  6. 6

    Check profit per show

Every buy, sell, and trade from the show rolls into a per-show profit and loss number, so you know how the weekend went without reconstructing it from memory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which games and grading companies does Vendor Hub support?

Vendor Hub is Pokemon-first today. It handles both raw cards and graded slabs from PSA, BGS, CGC, TAG.

Can I import my existing inventory?

Yes. Bring in an export from your existing platform or any generic CSV, no need to re-enter everything by hand. Most vendors import their inventory and run their first deal the same day.

How is per-show profit calculated?

Every buy, sell, and trade at a show is logged automatically, along with table fees, expenses, cash in, and cash out, and rolled up into a profit and loss number for that show.

Do I need hardware to run a card show POS?

No. Your phone is all you need to scan, price, and review deals. A compatible NIIMBOT printer is optional if you want to print or update price labels at the table.

What happens after the open beta?

Paid plans are coming, but pricing after the beta has not been announced yet. Early vendors keep preferred pricing when paid plans arrive.
