Krookodile Card Facts & History
5 facts about this card
Card History
Krookodile is one of the four Secret Rare cards in Dragons Exalted, appearing as card 127/124 beyond the main set list, which gives this pull the classic Black & White-era "hidden card" thrill collectors chase.
Set Lore
Dragons Exalted was released on August 15, 2012 and is remembered for introducing Dragon-type Pokémon to the English Black & White TCG, making Secret Rares like Krookodile part of a landmark set in the era.
Card History
Krookodile has real anime pedigree because Ash's Krookodile became one of his standout Unova battlers, scoring notable wins over Iris's Dragonite and Stephan's Sawk.
Artist
This card was illustrated by 5ban Graphics, the Creatures, Inc. art team known for many of the Pokémon TCG's bold digital Full Art and Black & White-era card designs, which fits the dramatic Secret Rare presentation perfectly.
In-Game
The card's flavor text points to it being a Shiny Krookodile, tying it to one of the most beloved collector hooks in the games: a Pokémon with an alternate color scheme that is exceptionally hard to encounter.
