HS—Triumphant was released in English on November 3, 2010 as the fourth and final main HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion, so this Altaria comes from the set that effectively closes out the HGSS block’s mainline story.

This card was illustrated by Ryo Ueda, one of the Pokémon TCG’s prominent 3D illustrators, a style especially beloved by collectors who enjoy dramatic lighting and high-impact poses from the EX through modern eras.
Card History
Altaria’s dreamy flavor fits its anime identity perfectly, where the Pokédex describes it as the Humming Pokémon known for a beautiful high-pitched song and cloudlike flight.
