Altaria [Reverse Holo] Card Facts & History
5 facts about this card

Set Lore
This Reverse Holo version stands out as a true HGSS-era collector chase, since the English Triumphant expansion specifically released its cards in Reverse Holofoil as well as regular versions.

Ryo Ueda’s illustration gives this Altaria that sleek, high-impact HGSS look, and Bulbapedia identifies him as one of the Pokémon TCG’s prominent 3D illustrators known for making powerful cards feel especially dramatic.
Card History
Altaria had a memorable Diamond & Pearl anime spotlight in "A Meteoric Rise to Excellence!," where Grandma Wilma’s Altaria demonstrated Draco Meteor training and reinforced the species’ elegant, mystical image.
