Bug is one of the 18 Pokémon types. Bug-type Pokémon are usually available early in every game and specialize in hitting Grass, Psychic, and Dark, though many of their other matchups deal reduced damage.

What beats Bug-type Pokémon?

Remember that many Bug-type Pokémon have a second type, which changes this list. A second type can add new weaknesses, cancel out an existing one, or turn a weakness into a four-times weakness when both types share it.
